Planning & Scheduling Systems Manager
Location: Hybrid – Based at any Blue Diamond Industries Plant (Clinton, SC | Ogden, UT | Middlesboro, KY | Aubrey, TX) (preferred)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
Blue Diamond Industries is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Systems Manager to join our Supply Chain team. This hybrid role plays a vital part in leading our Shopfloor Manager (SFM) and Advanced Planning/Scheduling (APS) systems to ensure production efficiency, accurate planning, and on-time delivery across multiple manufacturing sites.
You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Quality, and Purchasing teams to streamline scheduling processes, improve data accuracy, and support continuous improvement across all Blue Diamond locations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain Shopfloor Manager (SFM) and Advanced Planning/Scheduling (APS) systems
- Create and manage work orders to meet open sales and safety stock targets
- Forecast raw material inventory and production capacity needs
- Develop scheduling strategies that support efficiency and on-time customer delivery
- Partner with site leadership to resolve scheduling or production conflicts
- Collaborate with Quality to maintain accurate and compliant planning processes
- Provide training and support on SFM/APS systems and scheduling best practices
- Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental standards
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, or Business (or 5+ years of equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production planning roles
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems (Shopfloor Manager and APS a plus)
- Knowledge of plastic extrusion processes preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel up to 25–50% as needed between sites
