We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Engineering Supervisor to lead our Test Engineering team at our Pueblo, CO site. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the development of Test personnel, systems, and methods. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will have direct reports.

This position has been designated as On-Site at our Pueblo, CO facility and is considered safety-sensitive.
What you will do:
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians focused on Daily Testing support and long term projects.
Develop strategy for improving Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pertaining to Universal Testers (UTs)
Drive Digital Factory initiatives to enhance site performance metrics.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Manage team budget to meet site objectives
Partner with Operations Leaders to ensure timely response to equipment downtime and adequate planning for equipment updates
Improve team engagement through A3 Planning
Project Management:
Oversee the deployment of new Test systems and the enhancement of existing systems to mitigate safety risks, improve product quality, and reduce labor hours.
Support End of Line Testing for New Product Deployment projects
Technical Development:
Enhance the technical knowledge and process expertise of Test Engineers & Technicians through targeted training, skill assessments, and growth measurement.
Identify opportunities for professional development and engage with team members to gain insights and feedback.
What you will bring:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or related Technical discipline is required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an HVAC or heavy industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
Understanding of control system design
Experience working in High Voltage work cells with Safety Interlocks
Leadership & Management:
Minimum of 2 years in a people management role.
Experience in launching and managing capital projects.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience deploying systems to meet Electrical Safety standards
Experience in new product launches and project management.
Demonstrated expertise in new process desired
Competency in Ladder Logic / PLC Programming
Visual Basic or other Computer programming language competency
Lean Manufacturing methodology for Standard Work, Total Productive Maintenance, and Capacity Analysis
Using PFMEA and Control Plans to improve effectiveness of Testing methods
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $74,000-120,000/annually
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
