Role Definition
As aSenior Digital Operations Engineer, you will develop automations & enhancements to streamline our Digital Operations, Data Engineering & Support activities. You will work with other technical experts and engineers to resolve complex issues across our digital ecosystem. Join our innovative team and contribute to building the next generation of automation & operational improvements!
Develop, deploy, maintain and optimize automation tools, scripts, and agents.
Create bespoke solutions/capabilities/tools using Python, SQL, AWS, Streamlit, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot Studio and others.
Software Product Testing: Knowledge of software product testing; ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure software product quality and adherence to stated requirements.
Top candidates will have:
Experience & passion for supporting production applications, services, components, or cloud infrastructure – data, APIs, services, UI/front-end
Hands-on technical expertise with AWS/Azure, Snowflake, Python/Java, Full-Stack Development or Full-Stack Support

This position will have the option to be based out of our Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL or Irving, TX offices.

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $179,640.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
