What does a successful Director, Financial Analysis do at Fiserv?
As a successful Director, Financial Analysis at Fiserv, you will provide essential financial support to our Application Development business partners, serving as the CFO for the respective business unit. You will lead the monthly close, forecast, and budget processes, ensuring full financial oversight, and provide critical variance analysis. Your communication and alignment with business finance leads will be crucial to the success of this role.
What you will do:
- Provide financial support to an Application Development business partners, taking on CFO responsibility for the Application Development business unit.
- Lead the monthly close, forecast, and budget processes, ensuring comprehensive financial oversight for this segment.
- Conduct month-over-month, plan, and forecast variance analysis for business partners and business finance leads.
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team to continuously deliver best-in-class results and providing necessary support to stakeholders
- Partner with the Technology team to support execution of strategic initiatives by delivering insightful reporting and analysis that enables informed decision-making, fosters alignment, and enhances cross-functional collaboration.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years related experience in financial analysis including budgeting, cost allocations and capital and operating expense handling.
- Experience in financial oversight, including monthly close, forecast, and budget process management.
- Experience in variance analysis with demonstrated ability to explain key variance drivers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
What would be great to have:
- 6+ years in expense analysis role.
- Experience in Finance within technology or business units.
- Knowledge of SAP/BPC reporting system.
- Experience in communicating with and managing relationships with senior finance leaders.
- General knowledge of IT systems.
- Specific knowledge and application of IT services and financial management including budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling.
