What does a Technical Sales Consultant do?
At Fiserv, a Technical Sales Consultant will partner with Sales Executives and product teams to strengthen our market positioning and accelerate sales across credit unions. You will design and deliver high-energy, outcome-focused demonstrations for prospects and existing clients, support competitive renewals, and own demo environments and collateral that clearly show the business value of choosing Fiserv as a strategic partner.
What you will do:
- Lead tailored, end-to-end product demonstrations for prospective credit unions, including scoping, delivery and post-demo follow-up.
- Present virtual demonstrations (WebEx, Teams) for add-on and ancillary Fiserv products.
- Maintain deep, current knowledge of Account Processing and priority surround products and upcoming enhancements.
- Own and maintain demo sandboxes and assets so they are realistic and client-ready.
- Collaborate across Sales, Product, Implementation and Support to resolve client questions and refine demo content.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work or military experience.
- 3+ years delivering product demonstrations or technical presentations.
- Experienced with virtual presentation tools (Webex, Teams) and managing demo/sandbox environments.
- Experience in translating product features into measurable client outcomes.
What would be great to have:
- Experience with core account processing systems or familiarity with Fiserv product suites.
- Troubleshooting knowledge of integrations/APIs or SQL to validate demo data.
- Experience supporting competitive renewals, proofs-of-concept or pilots.
- Willingness to travel as needed (typically up to ~50%).
