We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team.
Fridays 5:00pm-9:00pm $14.50 per hour
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out custodial duties including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and entryways to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to uphold facility standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of custodial supplies and equipment is an advantage.
- A proactive approach towards maintaining cleanliness and safety within the facility.
