KBR is seeking an innovative, creative and highly-motivated teammate to support a Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) Program Management Office (PMO) within the US Air Force’s (USAF), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFWNC) at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO.
KBR (formerly LinQuest) is the prime contractor on the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. By applying to this position, you are in consideration for KBR employment. However, you also have the option to be hired by one of our subcontractor teammates.
MSEIT provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) services for the USAF and USSF. We provide exceptional support for state-of-the-art government space systems, terminals and software applications, providing secure, survivable, and protected communications globally for our Nation’s warfighters. The candidate will perform programmatic and technical analyses and capability-based assessments to assess requirements, capability gaps, and risks while identifying current and future mission needs. The candidate will have a direct, positive impact on NC3 readiness by building a holistic picture of required actions and milestones associated with legacy and transitioning capabilities to operations and sustainment.

Responsibilities:
Build a picture of current operations and sustainment efforts by "road-mapping" current operations and sustainment efforts for legacy and transitioning NC3 capabilities, initiative activities, technical refreshes, and software upgrades
Monitor program activities and provide recommendations for process improvements and solutions to promote facilitate planning and resourcing to enable continuous equipment availability and reliability
Communicate logistical and technical concepts and challenges to the broad user audience
Work with the government and contractor team to develop and execute logistics solutions and strategies
Proactively recommend logistics-based solutions and plans for spares management, acquisition, and distribution to optimize reliability and availability of NC3 systems
Monitor equipment performance, hardware/software lists, and obsolescence data to track trends related to breakage or failure
Analyze developer plans, evaluate proposed sustainment activities, and develop recommendations for potential solutions
Perform analyses to determine system Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) coupled with supportability requirements; document and present results in a report format
Support sustainment analysis efforts to capture current combat readiness metrics and actions

Required:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance is required for this position
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; 10 years of applicable experience in lieu of education accepted
5 years’ related experience DoD Space Operations, Life Cycle Logistics, or DoD Acquisition
Integrated Product Support – knowledgeable
Life Cycle Logistics – expert
Microsoft Office – expert
Oral/written Communications – expert
Microsoft Project – aware
Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Knowledgeable in DoD/DA publications and forms
Desired:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles
Communications Security (US Government) – knowledgeable
Configuration Management (DoD) – aware
Demilitarization & Disposal (DoD) – knowledgeable
Design Interface (US Space Force) – knowledgeable
Maintenance Planning & Management (US Space Force) – knowledgeable
Operations & Maintenance (US Space Force) – proficient
Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (DoD) – knowledgeable

Hold Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)
DoD Supply/Logistics experience
NPMA Certification
Counterfeit Component Detection Certificate
Knowledge of life cycle cost analysis, support equipment requirements, and logistics support analysis
Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS Clauses
Wide Area Workflow, IUID Registry, GFP Management through PIEE
DoD communications
Basic Compensation: $62,000-$77,000 in Colorado
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
