MANTECH seeks a motivated and enthusiastic
Training Specialist to support our current Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) contract out of
Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide training and testing support for the Integrated Management Team (IMT) on several high-level projects, including the development of new equipment training (NET), technical documentation, and customer liaison activities; BPT travel up to 50% in performance of the duties of this position.
- Maintain configuration control of source documentation, legacy publications, and current publications.
- Supervise the training of new users on the project’s primary system during deployments of those systems and demonstrating the system to potential new partners as required.
- Establishing virtual and web-based training and providing virtual training sessions to users as needed for refreshers, in support of new features, and in support of other use cases as required.
- Develop training plans, coursework, videos, in-application how-tos, leave-behinds, and other training documentation for the system and all system roles, and storing documentation appropriately, in addition to, identifying and certifying user proficiency in support of the customer’s train-the-trainer model.
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining the training demonstration kit, and documenting the kit’s setup and use.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5+ years of technical training and training development experience. A total of 8 years’ experience without a degree.
- Experience providing in-person and virtual training to audiences of various sizes, technical aptitudes and backgrounds.
- Experience creating a variety of training-related materials and documentation to meet users’ needs, including web-based/virtual training and videos, training plans, written documentation, and instructions.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Instructor certification credentials from a military Service.
- Small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) operations experience.
- Experience with loitering munitions operations.
Clearance Requirements
- Must have a current/active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
