Description:• You will set up and operate various types of CNC machinery such as mills or lathes, or conventional machines such as lathes, jig borers, or grinders.
• Machine complex parts to exacting blueprint tolerances, meticulously meet specified requirements, ensuring the quality of finished parts.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery.
• Participate in company training programs, guided by subject matter experts, to develop your skills and advance your career.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet manufacturing goals.
Basic Qualifications:• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Independently program, edit programs, set up and run CNC OR conventional machines.
Desired Skills:• Possess a certification from the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS)
• Graduation from a state approved journeyman program or receipt of an associate’s degree in machine technology.
• Receipt of a machine technology certification of completion with a minimum of 1500 hours training.
• Ability to edit and program Mazak, Siemans or Fanuc controls.
• 1 to 2 years of machining experience with either CNC and/or conventional machines

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
