Description:You will be the Associate Manager – Testability Engineering for the Sniper ATP / F 35 EOTS team. Our team drives the design, analysis, and implementation of testability solutions that ensure mission critical systems detect faults quickly, isolate problems efficiently, and maintain high reliability throughout the product life cycle.
What You Will Be Doing As the Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading a talented group of testability engineers and acting as the technical champion for Built In Test (BIT) architecture across both programs. You will steer vision, guide execution, and represent the team to senior leadership and customers while maintaining hands on involvement in key analyses and tool development.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Defining and shaping the BIT architecture vision and its implementation roadmap.
• Managing talent: staffing, coaching, performance reviews, training plans, time card approvals, and regular employee check ins.
• Driving continuous improvements in testability to boost fault detection, isolation speed, and reduce false alarm rates.
• Conducting and presenting FMECA studies using circuit and software analyses.
• Designing, developing, and sustaining custom software tools that support testability activities.
• Leading investigations of field return CND issues, coordinating corrective action initiatives with staff.
• Developing testability proposals for IRAD, spiral development, obsolescence management, and software projects to support sustainment and “Must Sustain” goals.
• Presenting status briefings and technical updates to Lockheed Martin leadership and customer counterparts.

Basic Qualifications:• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Strong technical background with Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering or engineering technology fields, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in Reliability Engineering design practices.
• Experience leading and executing testability initiatives
• Experience performing FMECAs and BIT analysis
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics (intermediate to advanced electrical analysis)
• Experience writing and interpret BIT tests
• Programming Language Skills (Preferable C#, C++, And/Or Python)
• Strong Computer Skills including MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers, management, and customers
• Candidate should be an analytical thinker with demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovations.
• Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little or no direction and interface well with other program disciplines.
• Experience collaborating with and working in conjunction with other functions and engineering groups to achieve desirable results
• Ability to communicate, effectively interface, and influence multiple levels of executives and a broad range of internal and external customers.
Desired Skills:• Active Secret Clearance
• Data Analytics Experience/Background.
• Experience implementing and Using Tableau to analyze data, identify tends, and generate dashboards and metrics
• Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
• Previous experience with Sniper and/or EOTS Systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
