The Project Manager will assist in supervising the activities of outside contractors and onsite staff. This individual will also be responsible for working with property management personal and attending construction meetings.
This includes developing weekly reports, creating punch list items and following up with contractors to make sure all outstanding work is completed in a timely manner.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities for tenant improvement and one-time projects.
- Conduct regular site walks and provide detailed weekly updates to ownership on project progress, including Core & Shell and tenant fit-outs.
- Lead and participate in OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
- Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Track and resolve punch list items efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Set up and document Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for building assets.
- Log asset data for integration into CMMS systems.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience in construction management. Ideally as an Assistant Project Manager or Superintendent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
- Must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practice, and perform work in accordance with recognized trade and C&W Services standards
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and operational manuals associated with his/her work
- Must be proficient with the use of a computer and all Microsoft products
- Must be quality-focused and customer service oriented
- Must have prior supervisory/management experience
- Past use of ProCore, Bluebeam and Excel is preferred
