THE WORKThis is a position for a Systems Engineer on F35 Aircraft System Maintenance Trainer (ASMT) as part of the Operational Baseline Integrated Product Team (IPT).
As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
• Perform hardware and software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple IT components
• Manage system integrity, availability, and cyber compliance of networked systems
• Assist in the development of solutions across components of systems through design, integration, implementation and support
• Participate in phases of software and hardware development, leveraging our DevOps engineering processes and procedures while performing respective engineering activities
• Collaborate with other program personnel, participating in cross functional Agile teams
WHO WE AREThe Aircraft System Maintenance Trainer (ASMT) is an F-35 maintenance training classroom providing a virtual F-35 maintenance training environment that is used to familiarize the maintainer with aircraft maintenance procedures. The Infrastructure Team is responsible for the infrastructure, third party software, and security policies across the ASMT products.

This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
• Prior Software Integration and Test experience
• Experience with supporting tech refresh, imaging, and configuration management
• Experience in computer hardware support including troubleshooting issues and replacement of internal hardware
• Proven strong collaboration and teaming skills
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:• Experience in Systems Engineering, Software, and/or Systems Administration that would benefit an Integration and Test effort
• Experience in System Design and/or Requirement Analysis
• Detail Oriented and able to solve complex problems with logic
• Experience in shell scripting to schedule and automate processes
• Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence) and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
• Active Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
