Description:You will be the Metric & Data Analyst for the Data Insights & Metrics Team. Our team turns raw data into actionable intelligence that boosts productivity, sharpens decision‑making, and gives our engineering organization a competitive edge.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Metric & Data Analyst you will own the full data life‑cycle—from extraction and cleansing through modeling and reporting. You’ll partner with engineers, developers, and data scientists to translate business goals into robust analytical solutions that drive performance and forecasting accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, mining, and transforming large‑scale data sets to support engineering initiatives.
- Building and maintaining automated end‑to‑end data pipelines and customized reporting functions.
- Conducting statistical analyses, predictive modeling, and classification to ensure reliable forecasts.
- Verifying data quality, performing regular audits, and resolving inconsist.
- Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, clarifying requirements and delivering insights.
- Collaborating with data scientists and developers to define outcomes, establish data governance, and enhance analytical capabilities.
- Documenting methodologies, creating reusable templates, and training users on analytical tools.

Basic Qualifications:-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
-Knowledgeable professional with advanced experience using Tableau, Confluence, JIRA, and understanding data/analytics.
Desired Skills:-Familiarity with Quality Engineering/Analyst responsibilities
-Experience with MS SQL
-Experience with SAP HANA
-Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS preferred: EMR, Redshift, S3)
-Experience with MS Teams
-Experience with Tableau

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
