Description:You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting Integrated Product Teams with quality data and information, resolving process issues, and ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.

As the Quality Engineer Senior you will be responsible for driving excellence in manufacturing documentation and processes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing internal and external manufacturing documentation to verify compliance with specifications.
- Providing accurate quality data to Integrated Product Teams to support decision‑making.
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving process‑related quality issues.
- Ensuring products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional partners to implement corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:STEM degree at the Bachelor’s level or higher or equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance, therefore the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
Root Cause and Corrective Action Experience.
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning
and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Desired Skills:STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher preferred.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
Demonstrated ability to use analysis tools to perform Root Cause & Corrective Action.
Experience in disposition of non-conforming
products.
SAP Application experience.
Special Process experience.
Experience with First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
AS9100 interpretation and application experience.
Failure Review Board experience for troubleshooting failures and identifying resolutions including for electrical testing.
In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.
Electrical Systems/Electrical Engineering experience.
Thorough knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS).
Experience working with Government customers
and suppliers.
Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
