The Customer Insights Senior Analyst's role is to develop high-impact insight-based recommendations that drive strategies to drive Lowe's business. The Consumer Insights Senior Analyst is responsible for developing and communicating consumer insights using a variety of sources, including syndicated research, market share data, and primary quantitative and qualitative research.
What you will do
- A key part of your role will involve designing and executing ad hoc research to respond to urgent and evolving business needs, providing timely and actionable insights that help drive Lowe’s forward.
- Owns development of learning plan to meet the needs of key business stakeholders on Lowe’s strategic initiatives, translating business needs into research plans, so that the customers is at the center of decision making.
- Leads reporting & analysis of insights projects, with support from manager.
- Identifies the right research approach (including methodology and analysis plan) to answer the needs of the business, leveraging internal tools and external partners (research consultancies) to drive best in class research practices.
- Creates in-depth analysis, customer-models and summarizes key insights from analytics. Presents recommendations, findings, and input for solving key challenges to leadership.
- Proactively integrates multiple data sources / projects together into more strategic insights to inform business decisions and highlight business opportunities.
- Exhibits strong communication skills, with an ability to tell stories grounded in data with a bias towards impact & action.
- Acts as primary day to day lead with suppliers to manage research projects and continually identify best-in-class and innovative research techniques.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, Applied Quantitative or related field or equivalent work experience
•3-5 Years Experience in market research field
•3-5 Years of Customer Insights experience
Preferred Skills/Education
•Master's Degree in a related field (e.g. Master's in Marketing Research)
•Experience working in a retail environment
