What you will do:
PGIM Custom Harvest is looking for an experienced Separately Managed Account (SMA) Business Analyst to oversee daily workflow processes for our platform and provide hands-on technical support. This role combines operational management with strong business analysis and technical skills, primarily in SQL, to ensure efficient, accurate, and scalable account operations. PGIM Custom Harvest, a division of PGIM Global Wealth, is a pioneer in the development of tax-beneficial investment strategies using exchange-traded-funds (ETFs) for clients seeking improved after-tax outcomes. We provide full exposure to a client-selected benchmark while generating tax alpha through customized separately managed account (SMA) portfolios of ETFs. PGIM Custom Harvest manages $ 6.5 billion on behalf of a wide range of RIAs and Wealth Managers.
What you can expect:
- Support the business strategy aligned with the PGIM Custom Harvest business objectives
- Manage end-to-end SMA workflows, including onboarding, trade flow, reconciliation, and performance reporting.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve workflow issues and ensure timely, accurate processing.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to analyze data, troubleshoot breaks, and deliver business insights.
- Define requirements for workflow and system enhancements; support UAT and implementation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive automation and reduce operational risk.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor workflow efficiency and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and technology partners to maintain workflow integrity and control standards.
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in SMA operations, workflow management, or business analysis within asset/wealth management.
- Strong understanding of SMA platforms and operational processes.
- Proficiency in SQL (required); exposure to reporting or analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict reporting deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator with proven ability to work across business and technology teams.
Salary Range Disclosure
The salary range for this role is from $125,000 to $145,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement. Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.
