What does a successful VP, Relationship Manager - Strategic Partnerships do at Fiserv?The Relationship Manager in the Strategic Partnerships Group is responsible for the overall business partnership with the client from a strategic and consultative perspective. Serving as the primary contact for the client’s executive and senior-level leaders, you will develop and implement the growth strategy for the strategic client partnership. You will leverage Fiserv solutions to maximize the client’s growth and profitability, utilizing company resources to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and increased profitability for Fiserv. You will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Servicing.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans that drive incremental Fiserv revenue through creation of profitable deal constructs and innovative partnerships.
- Identify and build a pipeline of revenue-generating opportunities that increase the profitability and contribution margin of the partnership.
- Lead the retention of the partnership via contract renegotiations and renewals that deliver profitable outcomes for Fiserv.
- Cultivate and improve relationships across multi-level and teams at the client to identify and implement solutions to grow and expand revenue.
- Establish and use strong internal relationships and networks across Fiserv to effectively influence and complete revenue growth plans.
- Develop and communicate workforce demands needed to run the existing business and meet projected growth targets.
- Manage client communications and expectations around issues, providing final resolution for issues not resolved by delivery or support.
- Articulate and leverage Fiserv delivery models in support of the client’s business agenda.
What you will need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in strategic partnership management.
- Experience managing and growing relationships and revenue with large/complex organizations with a consistent track record to negotiate, close deals.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience in the financial industry or technology sector.
- Advanced consultative selling skills and ability to close high-stakes deals.
- Expertise in analyzing metrics and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience leading discussions with senior-level partners to generate results.
- Knowledge of business and operations in the financial industry preferred.
- MBA degree.
Important information about this role:
- Travel required: approximately 50% domestic travel to client HQ.
- You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
