Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (Combat) - Early Career.
In this role you will contribute to design, analysis, implementation, test and integration of mission critical software. The successful candidate will have knowledge or experience in System Engineering of Weapons Control Systems product supporting Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) programs to meet cost and schedule. In this role you will, develop fire control, track filtering, guidance, engagement planning, and coordinate system alignment algorithms by performing design trades and simulating algorithms. Responsible for development of requirements using SysML diagrams and constructs.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
•Experience with use of Unix/Linux, C++, Java, and/or Python
•Experience in Agile workflow environment (e.g., JIRA, Scrum)
•Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:•Experience in requirements analysis, development, software test procedures development and execution.
•Experience with Data Analysis and troubleshooting
•Experience Git and/or Git lab
•Experience in Model Based Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools (e.g., Rhapsody, Cameo)
•Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills through the understanding and use of math and physics.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $61,500 - $110,909.
