Description:You will be a Software Engineer for a Modeling and Simulation Team within the Simulation and System Labs (SSL) Organization and will be responsible for the development, integration and test of the Modeling and Simulation capabilities that support integration and testing of Skunk Works software products in multiple environments.

As the Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer you will be responsible for new development software where you will get to work hands on through the entire software development lifecycle from software design, coding, and integration. You will be integrating and modernizing end-to-end software and modeling products utilized in current and future Advanced Development Programs (ADP).
The responsibilities for this role will include:
• Full software lifecycle development spanning across many services and system software technologies.
• Development of simulations to support software capability growth and implementation
• Troubleshooting issues with services
• Participating in integration and test events
• Attend and participates in daily scrums, sprint reviews and technical demos
• Supporting planning and scheduling for key integration and milestone events

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline. (Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred)
• Experience with programming software
languages such as C++, Python and/or Java.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
