Description:You will be the Proposal Analyst Sr for the Advanced Programs Estimating Team. Our team is responsible for shaping winning proposals, building rigorous business cases, and delivering cost‑effective solutions to complex government programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Proposal Analyst Sr, you will be responsible for leading the proposal development effort, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, and delivering strategic cost analyses. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing proposals in accordance with estimating policy, FAR/DFARS, and other government regulations while shaping business‑case analyses and pricing strategies.
- Acting as the estimating lead, compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements and coordinating inputs from functional departments.
- Performing financial modeling—including rate studies, cash‑flow, NPV, and IRR analyses—and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
- Participating on contract‑negotiation teams and interfacing with DCAA and other audit agencies.
- Initiating process‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity and efficiency within pricing and estimating functions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires selected candidate to obtain an active Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:- Ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret)
- Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business-related degree
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel
- Experience with MFC Estimating Systems (EFS Proposal/Estimate) or ProPricer
- Development of prime proposals and supporting proposal process through fact finding/negotiations and TINA Certification
requirements at the prime contract level in an Estimating role; and
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:- Experience with Estimating, Pricing, Finance and other Business Operations functions.
- Comprehensive written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to F&BO Leadership.
- Experience with ProPricer
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead proposal activity from RFP through negotiations /certification
- Proactive self-starter

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
