Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking to hire an early career Analog and Power Supply Design Engineer who will be involved in the design, development, and test of RF/Microwave subassemblies at our campus in Chelmsford, MA.
-The candidate will have the opportunity to work along side one of our mentors in the field of analog and power supply design.

- In this position you will have the opportunity to assist and gain knowledge in the design, simulation and test of low noise analog RF systems, DC-DC and LDO power supplies.
- Design and develop RF analog circuitry used in high frequency and low noise applications.
-Design, simulate and develop high efficiency DC-DC switchers and low noise LDO power supplies.
- Be involved in hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, simulation, and test.
- Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF and power supply hardware to verify performance characteristics.
-Provides inputs to product development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.
- In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of low noise amplifiers, low noise analog discrete circuits, analog to digital converters (ADC) and digital to analog converters (DAC) circuits.
- Develops and allocates RF system, subsystem, and power supply functional and performance requirements.
The selected candidate should possess the ability to follow our established LM hardware development best practices and contribute effectively to our design assurance processes.

Chelmsford, Massachusetts is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshire’s White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm.

Basic Qualifications:- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Electrical Engineering degree or related field is required.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of analog circuit design and analysis. This includes a basic understanding of power supply tools (oscilloscopes, digital multimeter, bench power supply, etc). and theory is required.
-Candidate must be eligible to obtain a clearance
Desired Skills:- Possessing or pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Performed analog circuit simulations using tools such as Spice, LTSpice, LTPowerCAD, PSpice.
- Performed schematic capture using software tools such as Cadence OrCad, Siemens Xpedition, Altium, etc.
- Some knowledge of board layout or for Circuit card assembly (CCA) best practices for low noise analog RF circuits and power supplies.
- Performed lab testing and debug of RF analog circuitry on circuit card assemblies (CCA) using bench supplies, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
- Have an understanding of the trade-offs between switching and LDO power supplies.
- Ability to create a power distribution diagram and maintaining power analysis throughout the system.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
