We are looking for talented geospatial engineers to join our team, working with other engineering disciplines to help develop many best-in-class products and solutions.
The WorkThis Systems Engineering position will support the F-35 Training System programs and participate in the design of requirements and test procedures.
The primary responsibility of this position is to perform system engineering team’s development activities that are necessary to successfully complete milestones leading up to the full verification, validation and delivery of product capabilities.
The system engineering activities include providing technical oversight for: Visual database system requirements derivation, requirements management, requirements change management, system design development, system integration planning, system requirements verification, system performance validation, and test procedure execution.
This position may require unique program security clearances that will be initiated upon selection and acceptance in filling this position. Final approval of these security clearances is dependent upon the Department of Defense (DoD) and could take an extensive amount of time to be granted. During this waiting period, the work assignments directly related to this position will be limited. Therefore, auxiliary organization work assignments will be provided.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 or more years of systems engineer experience
• Experience with integration and test
Desired Skills:• Experience with JIRA or DOORS
• Experience working in an Agile Environment
• Experience with simulation or visual databases
• Active secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
