About your role:
The Embedded Finance Team is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a passion for delivering and supporting innovative payments solutions in a Fintech environment. This role will have a business requirements and design focus as it relates to solution configurations and integrations across the platform. You will have a blend of business and financial acumen with a technologist heart.
What you'll do:
- Work directly on a next-gen core platform as it relates to ledger, payments, and settlement.
- Query databases, analyze data, and generate reports using SQL and data analysis techniques.
- Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and other documentation.
- Work with API standards and integration methods in a banking environment.
- Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.
- Integrate various banking regulations such as, AML, KYC, Basel III into system requirements.
Experience you'll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis in financial services or payments industry.
- 4+ years of experience with SQL databases.
- 4+ years of experience in project management using Agile methodologies.
- 4+ years of experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
- Experience with modeling / diagramming tools such as Visio or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven ability to partner with third parties and vendors.
- Experience in settlement / reconciliation the payments space.
Important information about this role:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
