As a Manager Software Development II, you will lead a team of talented developers to create innovative solutions that address complex business challenges. Your role will involve overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software applications, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
What you will do:
Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

What you will need to have:
12+ years of experience in software development
5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
8+ years of experience in C, or Pro*C programming languages
8+ years of experience in Oracle databases
5+ years of experience leading teams
5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
4+ years of experience in Perl programming language
3+ years CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
4+ years of experience in Java programming language
2+ years of experience in Azure, Cloud Foundry, or GCP services
How you will work:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
