About your role:
As the Head of Technology for Open Banking, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technology strategy and operations related to open banking as it relates to core account processing and solutions. You will lead and manage a team responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of these systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless integration of the systems with other platforms and technologies. Additionally, your technical leadership and expertise will be instrumental in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new technologies to drive open banking adoption. Managing external client communications will be another important aspect of your role, ensuring effective and timely engagement.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the technology strategy and operations related to open banking.
- Lead and manage the team responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of these systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other platforms and technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new technologies to interact with account processing.
- Manage external client communications, ensuring effective and timely engagement.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- Strong experience in leading and managing teams in the development, implementation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, C++, .net and COBOL with a solid understanding of software development methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of core account processing systems, including their architecture, functionality, and integration with other systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience in open banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to core account processing systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
