Description:Aircraft Painter Coater and Finisher Instructor
What You Will Be Doing• Candidate must be able to deliver 5th generation aircraft coatings and finishes training to production and flight operations employees this includes bonding of materials with sealant or adhesives.
• Extensive knowledge in paint spray equipment use, and troubleshooting.
• Establishes and delivers technical training programs targeted on the installation, maintenance, repair, of aircraft coatings and finishes materials, specific tools, test equipment, and utilize internal company systems such as SFM, QADS, ICA, PDM, MPS’s, PS, and JDL.
• Review lesson plans and materials for technical instruction in preparation for class delivery.
• Experience working with Low Observable Finishes on the F-22/F-35.
• Responsible for classroom setup, class materials, course currency and changes to course content based on existing technical guidance.
• Responsible for maintaining instructor currency/proficiency of assigned courses.
• Responsible for course control document reviews.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically power point and excel.
• Responsible for roster accuracy, and class completion verification.
• Candidate will be expected to provide technical expertise in a consulting role to engineering and production teams to meet DCMA 8210.0 and other contractual training requirements.
• Candidate must be able to acquire a secret clearance.
• Must be willing to travel to other Aero sites to conduct training.

Discover Marietta.Basic Qualifications:• F22 &/or F35Aircraft paint experience
• Paint spray equipment use, knowledge and using the following tools HVLP, conventional, pressure pot, electrostatic and robotic.
• Experience interpreting &/or teaching painting &/or coatings blueprints.
• Understanding of robotic paint spray application.
• Ability to and understanding of mixing paints, primers, adhesives, and sealants using various methods that include, by ratio, weight &/ or mixing equipment.
Desired Skills:• C130 paint experience.
• Instructional System Design (ISD) course content development and delivery.
• Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and Audio/Visual equipment experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply aircraft technical drawings.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
