Boeing's Human Resources function is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our Enterprise Engineering Human Resources (HR) team supporting our BCA 787 Airplane Programs Engineering organization in North Charleston, SC. As a strategic HR partner, you’ll partner with leadership to design and deliver talent strategies, drive performance and engagement, and advise on complex employee relations matters.
This position requires a Human Resources Generalist who demonstrates the knowledge, experience, and ability to create and deploy integrated HR initiatives. This position supports the 787 Engineering team comprised of roughly 1,000 employees and works in close partnership with the 787 HR generalist program peers, in addition to leading critical initiatives.
The selected candidate will work closely with other key groups in the Human Resources (HR) organization, namely HRG’s supporting BCA Engineering and 787 program, the specialized HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and the HR Services groups to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees, managers and executives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
- Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
- Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation and ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives
- Serve as subject matter expert on majority of HR products and services
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior management and executive leadership across the Business, Function and HR
- Assist in shaping and influence the Business vision, mission, priorities and long-range plans
- Partner with the CoEs and local HR teams to ensure understanding and alignment of talent strategy and to ensure planning, execution and realization are achieved through solutions, programs and policies
- Collaborate with HR peers – both in the businesses and functions – to enable the organization’s HR / business strategies, and ensure the efficient delivery of HR products, tools and services
- Lead, support, execute key HR processes (e.g. Annual Compensation Review (ACR), succession planning, executive movement, etc.)
- Lead workforce related initiatives including staffing and LRBP planning
- Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
- 5+ years of experience in deploying and administering HR programs, policies, practices and processes
- 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
- 5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
- Experience analyzing data and metrics to identify future organization needs
- Experience working in a business environment partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources
- Human Resources certification(s)
- Experience adapting to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements
- Strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills
- Comprehensive understanding of business priorities and be able to translate them into action plans that drive business results
- Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data for cross-functional teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $103,700 - $152,500
Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 5): $128,350 - $188,750
