Controls Engineering Intern responsible for supporting design, development, validation, and support of active magnetic bearing (AMB) control system software and firmware.
This is a 20-40 hour per week position.

Education
- Required: Pursuing bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering. Rising Senior.
Experience
- Coursework or projects involving embedded control system software development.

- Development of application-optimized real-time closed-loop control systems including:
- Proficiency in C and C++ Programming
- Microcontrollers and Microprocessors
- Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Hardware-Software Integration
- Debugging and Testing Techniques

- Communication Protocols: I2C, SPI, and UART
- Power Management

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21.00-$24.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
