Position Summary:
The Recruiter position is responsible for sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and referring applicants for all positions throughout multiple brands (Celebree School, Caliday School Age Programs, Summers @ Celebree). This position will need a basic understanding of the Company’s organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure, Office of Child Care qualification requirements and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Essential Functions
TALENT
- Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities.
- Analyzes the information provided on a prospective employee’s application.
- Conducts phone screenings to determine the suitability of the applicant for employment.
- Mail appropriate correspondence to applicants that are judged unqualified.
- Schedule interviews for individuals deemed to meet qualifications.
- When requested perform employment references to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision.
- Search for qualified applicants using the resume database found on various internet sites.
- Attends job fairs, chamber of commerce meetings, competitor work sites, and college campuses in order to network and promote Celebree and Caliday as the employers of choice.
BRAND
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with colleges, universities, and community placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
- Posts brand right employment ads in publications, college websites, recruitment websites, etc to source applicants.
- Educate current employees on transfer and promotion opportunities as they arise through flyers, HR online postings, emails, etc.
OPERATIONS
- Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
- Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
- Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presents hiring statistics.
- Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
- Participates in development of annual recruiting budget. This includes verifying proper billing from various agencies.
- Creates and executes on Open Interview Day events when appropriate.
- Updates and maintains weekly key performance results for recruitment.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
- The incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least (1) year related experience
