This is your chance to be part of an in-house Brands team of industry experts in the domains of hospitality, brand management, innovation, food and beverage, design, wellness, owner relations, and more, for all of Hilton's unique brands! As a Vice President Brand Leader, DoubleTree by Hilton (DoubleTree) you will oversee the global strategy and support the teams that lead our brands with the steadfast goal of strengthening and growing the Hilton portfolio.
What will I be doing?
As a VP Brand Leader, DoubleTree, you will create, implement, and oversee the global strategy and support our teams in delivering the DoubleTree experience including the areas of growth, quality, brand signatures and experiences, commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and owner profitability. On the Full Service Brands team reporting to the SVP Category Leader, Full Service, you will help implement important brand initiatives while navigating and collaborating with our matrixed environment to achieve completion of brand, category, and enterprise initiatives.
Your Responsibilities Will Also Include
- Contribute to the success of the DoubleTree brand by leading the brand's global strategy and defining its purpose and distinct positioning in the Hilton brand portfolio and competitive landscape.
- Support the advancement and execution of short and long-term brand strategies, including building project plans, setting priorities, specifying clear timelines, and ensuring accountability in the implementation of these strategies.
- Work across the Hilton matrix building annual plans underpinned with alignment, accountability and creation of solutions as defined by the brand strategies to ensure DoubleTree is achieving annual goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Partner with Brand and Enterprise Marketing to ensure development of meaningful consumer marketing and social campaigns and content.
- Monitor brand standards and new programs to assess implications to owner profitability, guest satisfaction, and brand differentiation.
- Conduct business analysis including market research and competitive market analysis to find opportunities for the brand.
- Support brand forecast management, annual forecast and budget process, and growth efforts.
- Work with Development on the global growth strategy, visit hotel sites, and support in the pitch for potential deals.
- Shape the guest experience to deliver our Customer Promise and unique brand service experience in collaboration with our brand personality and learning & development teams.
How You Will Collaborate With Others
- Work with different teams (including Marketing, Development, F&B, Design, Openings, Brand Performance Support, Owner Relations, Architecture & Construction, Hilton Honors/CRM, HRCC, Legal, IT, Planning & Strategy, and Commercial) to help drive performance for DoubleTree.
- Partner with Development teams to identify opportunities to purposefully grow the brand and fulfill strategic portfolio gaps.
- Partner with Global Brand and Commercial Organization including Commercial, Marketing, Brand Performance Support, and Operations Teams to implement brand commercial plans to achieve performance goals.
- Oversee Brand Owner Advisory Council for DoubleTree. Laise with owners at industry events for the strategic advancement of the DoubleTree Brand. Build intentional trust and loyalty with owners to lead new deals and NUG growth.
- Partner with Quality Assurance, Legal, Brand Relicensing, Development, Owner Relations, Operations, and Brand Performance Support to effectively address quality issues.
- Partner with Brand Personality and Team Member Communication to amplify brand messages and main priorities to hotel leaders and team members and internal Hilton colleagues.
What Initiatives You Will Take Ownership Of
- Lead DoubleTree brand initiatives by working collectively with teams, tracking project progress, and representing DoubleTree POV in related meetings.
- Lead Initiatives that serve to improve brand integrity and brand health and awareness to improve future growth and strengthen the DoubleTree brand.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Ten (10) years of experience in hospitality or related industries.
- Three (3) plus years of working directly with owners (either from a corporate or hotel role.)
- Two (2) years of leading projects with multiple partners and teams.
- Four (4) years of management experience.
- Willing to travel up to 40-50%.
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Four (4) years of experience leading projects with multiple partners and teams.
- Two (2) years of experience developing annual plans, corporate budgets, narratives, project planning, forecasts, and strategic roadmaps for large enterprise.
- On-property hotel operations experience.
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent on the job experience.
