Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in our New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, or Mountain View Office.

As Sr. Manager, Curriculum Development (MR4), you will lead a team of curriculum managers and program managers to translate business needs into world-class educational programs across live, online, and blended formats.
You will set the standard for excellence by ensuring our programs power LinkedIn’s prestige credentialing strategy, establishing us as the industry benchmark for professional education. From embedding AI into every stage of learning design to evolving our next generation of certifications and badges, you’ll shape not just what we teach, but how education is experienced by marketers worldwide.

As Sr. Manager, Curriculum Development, you’ll lead the team that powers it all—shaping the next generation of credentials, building AI-powered learning innovation, and creating education that drives opportunity for our learners and growth for LinkedIn. Team Leadership & Vision
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of curriculum managers and program managers (online, new products, live/vendor, and project management).
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and belonging that fuels innovation and excellence.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships and budgets, ensuring top-tier learning partners.
Curriculum Strategy & Execution
- Translate business partner needs into rigorous, engaging, and scalable curricula across live, online, and blended modalities.
- Shape the overall curriculum architecture to ensure global consistency while allowing regional/local adaptation.
- Drive the evolution of our credential and badging strategy, ensuring LinkedIn Marketing Labs is recognized as the gold standard in professional certification.
AI & Learning Innovation
- Champion the integration of AI and emerging technologies across the learning lifecycle—from content creation to personalization to measurement.
- Develop new learning tools and technologies that elevate learner confidence, accelerate skill-building, and scale globally.
- Establish best practices and innovations that can be adopted across LinkedIn’s learning ecosystem.
Measurement & Business Impact
- Ensure learning programs are measurable, impactful, and directly tied to business outcomes.
- Partner with the Learning Data & Measurement Specialist to analyze program reach, engagement, and results, optimizing for maximum value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Learning Business Partner Manager to ensure alignment with sales, agency, and product priorities.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Agency Marketing, and Sales Enablement to embed education into go-to-market strategy.
- Serve as a thought leader within LinkedIn, showcasing how education drives revenue, customer adoption, and brand prestige.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or learning product leadership
- 3+ year managing teams of curriculum managers or equivalent
- 5+ years leading global learning programs across multiple modalities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing vendor networks and budgets
- Expertise in credential design, assessment frameworks, and building professional certifications
- Experience integrating AI and learning technologies into scalable education solutions
- Familiarity with B2B marketing, SaaS, or ad-tech ecosystems
- Track record of building best-in-class learning experiences that gain external recognition

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $144,000 to $234,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
