About this roleThe Lead Business Execution Consultant -Vice President plays a strategic leadership role within the Business Credit Card team, leading the roadmap and execution for account opening and account management capabilities that increase account production and deepen product engagement. You will partner closely with Risk, Digital, Product, Marketing, Operations, Credit, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Analytics to deliver a seamless, compliant, end-to-end customer journey across digital and branch channels.

wellsfargojobs.com .Key Responsibilities- Strategic leadership: Define and drive the roadmap for account opening (application experiences, customer screening, fraud, credit decisioning, provisioning, onboarding) and account management (customer account experiences, digital account management capabilities, servicing UX) across digital and assisted channels.
- Innovation & ideation: Source and shape high-impact opportunities; establish clear problem statements, hypotheses, and test-and-learn plans to reduce friction and improve conversion, activation, and ongoing usage.
- Performance impact: Deliver measurable improvements in account production and utilization by optimizing funnels, experiences, and engagement tactics; define OKRs/KPIs and build dashboards to track progress.
- Cross-functional leadership: Influence and align partners across Risk, Analytics, Technology, Operations, Credit, Marketing, and Digital; run decision forums with crisp options, trade-offs, and customer/financial impact.
- Program delivery: Lead teams to strategize, plan, and execute a portfolio of programs, services, and initiatives; manage dependencies, critical paths, and issue/risk logs through launch and stabilization.
- Risk discipline & readiness: Drive accountability for initiatives, limit risk exposure, and adherence to policy requirements.
- Business performance reviews: Assess strategy effectiveness using data and insights; recommend pivots and optimizations grounded in quantitative and qualitative findings.
- Complex decisioning: Facilitate decisions and resolve issues in highly complex, multi-stakeholder environments; escalate with structured approaches and implement agreed solutions.
Desired Qualifications- Experience developing and leading strategic initiatives for account opening and account management across digital and branch platforms, with proven conversion and utilization impact.
- Structured analytical thinker and communicator; exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs from concept to launch in a matrixed environment.
- Proficiency with agile product development (OKRs, epics/features/stories, quarterly planning) and partnering with Product/Tech.
- Successfully operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing deadlines.
- Track record executing planned strategies with measurable outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, partner, and negotiate within a matrixed environment to gain commitment and deliver results.
- Financial services background with strong understanding of Credit Cards or Retail Banking
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Job Expectations:- Senior individual contributor with matrix leadership responsibilities; may lead virtual squads and vendor engagements. Change readiness: Ensure end-to-end readiness (process, procedures, training, communications, monitoring) for each launch and establish post-launch success criteria.
- Risk & compliance: Adhere to enterprise risk and control standards; maintain evidence of control design/operationalization and partner through examinations, audits, and RCSA activities.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
