About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a testing lead within WIM Operations to drive testing strategy, planning and execution for a portfolio of Account Opening and Maintenance products and capabilities. The role needs to be strategic, focus on accelerating execution and optimizing the testing practice to support the product platform.
Strategic Test Planning & Execution: own and drive the testing strategy aligned to the product roadmap. Ensure test plans are comprehensive, risk-based, and scalable across releases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore testing teams. Partner closely with product, technology, and business stakeholders to align on quality goals and deliverables.
Outcome-Driven Delivery: focus on delivering measurable testing outcomes-defect prevention, early detection, and faster release cycles. Ensure traceability from requirements to test results.
End-to-End Ownership: take full ownership of testing challenges across the lifecycle. Think holistically about upstream and downstream impacts and proactively resolve issues.
Operational Excellence: maintain high standards of organization, communication, and documentation. Be articulate in reporting progress, risks, and quality metrics to leadership.
In this role, you will:- Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of testing initiatives as per the product roadmap
- Ensures that systems and processes are tested to meet functional requirements and business compliance requirements, across systems when applicable
- Complete business Quality Assurance activities
- Develop routines to monitor data quality and track / resolve defects and issues
- Develops detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured acceptance test cases based on functional, integration and compliance requirements
- Help define and generate test data, executes manual test scripts identifies test scripts for automation and partners with technology to build
- Document and communicates acceptance test results along with appropriate background information to assist with triaging defects
- Present test results in an objective and unbiased manner reflecting relevant facts that lead to logical conclusions
- Track defects to closure and ensure they are effectively managed in the product backlog
- Ensure deep understanding of regression tests and well proactively provide input to ensure they are well designed
- Lead UAT test planning in partnership with key stakeholders such as product, technology and control
- Ensure requirements / story details are well defined and contain clear acceptance criteria
- Ensure in-scope and out of scope items are clearly identified and agreed to during test planning
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
- Move the needle on automation testing strategy across the group
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Testing, Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Experience in a wealth management testing set up is preferred
- Experience in financial services set up is preferred
- Ability to successfully navigate / operate in a high-pressure environment
- Previous experience working in an agile environment
- Ability to analyze complex data sets / requirements

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
