Job Description
This role will be based in New York or San Francisco depending on where the candidate selected is currently residing.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are seeking an Associate to join our Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations organization, which builds and maintains the operational foundations for sales to connect LinkedIn Marketing Solutions with customer needs. This role is on a global team supporting the Managed Agency Sales segment of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions business.
The ideal candidate for the Associate role will demonstrate:
- Analytical Excellence & Attention to Detail: Strong technical data and analytical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL. Capacity as analytical backbone of the team, skilled at executing end-to-end zero-defect analysis (from query construction to hypothesis testing), and leveraging insights to drive sound decision-making across a variety of planning and operational processes.
- Problem Solving & Growth Mindset: Ability to think critically and strategically, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and process improvement. Comfort challenging the status quo and driving innovation in a rapidly changing environment. Intrinsic motivation to continually learn, innovate, and adapt.
- Clear Communication & Project Leadership: Experience presenting to senior executives and influencing decisions through audience-centered communication (exec emails, PPTs). Proven ability to deliver results in ambiguity by leading high-priority initiatives with multiple workstreams to completion.
In this role, you will:
- Lead Operational Processes and Strategic Planning for the Sales Org: Customer segmentation, headcount, quota setting, crediting, audits, reports, data checks and maintenance.
- Maintain Rhythm of the Business: Monitor in-quarter sales performance, maintain and improve weekly forecasting model, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy in reporting and revenue attribution.
- Advise Sales Leadership: Communicate actionable, data-driven recommendations to sales leaders and executives, supporting both long-term strategic priorities and day-to-day decision-making.
- Conduct In-Depth Business Performance Analyses: Frame and scope complex business problems, conduct rigorous quantitative analysis, solicit qualitative inputs, and track/ensure program impact for key organizational initiatives.
- Drive Cross-Functional Projects: Spearhead and provide recommendations on strategic, cross-functional initiatives that shape LinkedIn’s go-to-market strategy and sales motion. Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Operations teams and cross-functional partners (strategic finance, sales leadership, customer science, HR, and systems teams) to achieve business objectives.
- Accelerate Operational Excellence: Enhance processes, support foundational infrastructure efforts, and scale best practices across teams to contribute to operational excellence. Gather requirements and manage changes to processes, sales technology, and tools to improve sales rep productivity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, management consulting, finance, or an analytical/operational role.
- 2+ years of experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- 1+ years of experience with SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Business, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel: expertise in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Experience working with Tableau, Anaplan, and/or willingness to learn new analytical & CRM platforms.
- Background in Python for automation, data processing, or production use cases.
- Motivation to stand out from the crowd, disrupting the norm to help their business win.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base pay range for this role is $78,000 to $137,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
