Description:You will be the Development Manufacturing Engineer for the Air Dominance Line of Business team. Our team is responsible for creating and improving manufacturing strategies for complex missile assemblies, and we play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions for technical and organizational challenges.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Development Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for driving cost‑reduction initiatives, guiding design producibility, and transitioning new or revised designs from development into>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Communicating directly with government customers to capture requirements and provide status updates.
- Influencing design for manufacturability and ensuring producibility of complex electro‑mechanical systems.
- Identifying and mitigating production risks while supporting both Lockheed Martin and supplier manufacturing operations.
- Managing earned value and tracking cost‑reduction opportunities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Providing technical expertise for assembly, test, and integration of circuit card assemblies and related processes.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or STEM Related Discipline
· Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
· Experience working within cross-functional groups, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various teams and stakeholders
· Technical knowledge and experiences in the areas of defensive and aerospace manufacturing, process development and production testing.
Desired Skills:· At least 1+ year prior experience in a manufacturing role directly supporting the shop floor.
· Working knowledge of Electro-Mechanical assembly processes including CCA, Cable and Harness, and lower level assembly fabrication.
· Knowledge of Digital Transformation and
Automation Processes in a Manufacturing
Assembly Environment.
· Experience running Design for Manufacturing events and trade studies.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
