Description:You will be the Operations Manager for Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for driving speed, agility, and technical innovation across advanced threat‑warning sensor programs and special projects.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing production activities on the S&GS Advanced Threat Warning Sensors and leading strategic initiatives for the Advanced and Special Programs team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing cost and schedule for manufacturing Advanced Threat Warning Sensors across seven (7) centers, coordinating with engineering, quality, procurement, and sites in Ocala, Archbald, Dallas, and Santa Barbara.
- Directing program proposals, planning, execution, manpower, capital/capacity, NRE activity, and process development.
- Communicating effectively with customers and all management levels, authoring program directives (PDs), and delivering clear written and verbal updates.
- Driving operational and manufacturing excellence through cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Supporting limited travel as required to align global sites and stakeholder expectations.

Basic Qualifications:Completed Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related field.
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Mix of Project Management/Manufacturing/Procurement/Production Control experience.
Strong communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of employees, including executive management level.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:Production Operations leadership experience.
Production/Manufacturing and Machining experience.
Development and transition to production program experience.
Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling
Capital Planning & Management experience
Lean and Six Sigma experience, minimum green belt certification
Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
