Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Manufacturing Parts Operations is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst – Supply Chain.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage supply chain for parts and returnable packaging through the supply chain from the suppliers’ shipping dock to the plant's receiving dock and back. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting dedicated and integrated external logistics servicing MTMUS.
Reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager, the person in this role will support the Manufacturing Parts Operation’s objective to manage inbound and outbound supply chain utilizing Toyota Logistics Partners to support MTMUS daily production.
What you’ll be doing
Monitor logistics operations and manage key performance indicators, visualize operational status.
Monitor abnormal supply chain conditions and escalate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) abnormalities, concerns, and crisis to management as required.
Monitor and support continuous improvement projects, cost reduction activities, etc.
Proactive data analysis to avoid customer or supplier impact.
Support abnormality investigations and apply Toyota Business Practice (TBP) fundamentals to identify root cause.
Monitor daily floor operations for cross dock LPs ensuring on-time performance and quality KPIs are met
Oversee daily operations for over-the-road logistics providers to ensure delivery and freight recovery is in place on time.
Manage monthly billing for LP invoices and track plan vs. actual spending to meet cost reduction KPIs
What you bring
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Science or equivalent degree is required
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
Advanced MS Excel skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and evaluate results - strong mathematical aptitude
Strong problem-solving skills - ability to interpret complex issues and implement sustainable solutions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Willing to support daily and weekend overtime requirements as needed (overtime varies)
Added bonus if you have
Power BI and/or Tableau experience
TMNA and/or NAMC Logistics Operations, Packaging, or Production Control experience
Proficient knowledge of TPS, TBP, and JKK
Experience applying FMDS/OMDS at other Toyota operations or applicable production environments
