Investment Professional – Tax Credits
The primary function of this role is toidentify, evaluate, and execute tax credit investment opportunities. This includes the underwriting and closing process, managing external relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure investments are structured and executed in alignment with financial, tax, and accounting standards. A criticalcomponentof this role is the development and oversight of complex financial models that drive investment decisions and support risk assessment. The role requires detailed financial and risk analysis, with a strong emphasis on GAAP and tax accounting throughout the investment lifecycle.
Manage and oversee partner relationships with syndicators, brokers, developers, and attorneys for the tax credit platform to drive positive investment performance.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Bachelor’sdegree with course work inAccountingand/orFinance. CPA designation preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of Finance/Business related experience. 2+ years of prior experience in public accounting is preferred.

The Investment Professional plays a key role on a team responsible for tax credit equity investments, with a specific focus on renewable energy investment tax credits. This includes relationship management, negotiating, management reporting, risk assessment and mitigation, project management, sales, sourcing, underwriting, direct or indirect management of associates, and analyzing highly detailed financial and investment information.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee partner relationships with syndicators, brokers, developers, and attorneys for the tax credit platform to drive positive investment performance, with an emphasis on renewable energy projects.
Build, perform, and review financial and investment analysis including reports to communicate to both internal and third-party clients.
Interface with team members, management, legal, syndicators, brokers and developers in managing investments from origination, underwriting, and closing.
Perform investment site and partner office visits to understand risks and related risk mitigation strategies and manage outcomes from those visits.
Conduct research and analysis on market and industry trends, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
Responsible for continuous improvement, improving efficiencies, and process management of renewable energy investments as well as other tax credit investments.
Provide education, guidance and support to other team members with less experience where applicable.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Asset Class Senior Investment Professional
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Bachelor’s degree with course work in Accounting, Finance, and/or Real Estate. Master’s Degree, CFA or CPA designation preferred.
Experience: 6 to 10 years of investment experience, with a preference for experience in renewable energy tax credits.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
Self-motivated business professional with a strong attention to detail

Intellectual curiosity, interest in and enthusiasm for real estate investing/renewable energy investments
