About your role:
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be key in leading and managing the test team with both from test processes & Payment Acquiring Subject Matter Expertise perspective.
The role involves effective collaboration with internal and external stake-holders with effective communications & test management principle
What you'll do:
- Involve in early requirement understanding and test initiation phase
- Test estimation (ROM, HLE & DLE) and Test Planning
- Test strategy preparation and presentation
- Requirements review with the team and identifying requirements & design gaps
- Participate and present in stage-gate meetings
- Lead & manage team during the test preparation and execution phase taking complete accountability for the testing deliverables
- Work with Program Managers and Product & Environment teams to ensure Day-1 test readiness
- Work closely with Defect Manager & Product teams to resolve issues as per the SLA & OLAs
- Publish Daily and weekly status reports to Program/project team and QA leadership
- Monitor & Publish Test Planning & Execution Metrics
- Lead continuous improvement & Automation initiatives within the QA team
Experience you'll need to have:
- An engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from a reputable institution
- Overall 12+ years of IT experience
- At least 3 to 4+ years of Lead & Management experience in Payments’ domain
- At least 3+ years of Test Management experience
- Experience with Dashboards, Unix scripts, APIs, SQL, databases and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Passion for learning and leveraging technology to drive innovation in financial services.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Certification in testing standards – ISTQB++
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Familiarity with security testing practices
- Understanding of software development lifecycles
- Certification in software testing methodologies
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Agile methodologies
