What does a successful Senior Financial Billing Analyst do at Fiserv?
As a Sr Financial Billing Analyst, you will significantly contribute to the revenue cycle through collaboration, ensuring timely and accurate client billing for a line of business at Fiserv. You will analyze, trend and interpret contract language to accurately reflect terms for client billing. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of resolving merchant billing issues resulting from technical and operational situations impacting the client or business.
What you will do:
Collaborate with a variety of technical and business teams to research, identify and manage billing events that occur within our organization
Establish expectations, ownership and accountability for the resolution and remediation of billing issues
Conduct analyses, including data collection and synthesis of data to generate impact reporting
Participate in projects related to billing system changes through requirement documentation, testing and implementation
Act as subject matter expert on our billing systems and processes
Responsible for the accurate and timely creation and distribution of client invoices and relevant documents.
What you will need to have:
Experience in billing, financial analysis, accounting, bookkeeping and/or similar discipline
Experience collaborating across teams and functions with technical and non-technical staff
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookup, formulas, functions, Pivot Tables)
4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
Bachelors degree
Experience in payment processing industry
Experience managing and tracking projects
Experience writing data queries using MS Access, SQL and TOAD software
Experience with large ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
