Description
The Salesforce Senior Architect serves as a strategic solution leader responsible for defining and driving enterprise Salesforce architectures across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related platforms. This role leads the design of scalable, secure, and innovative Salesforce solutions that integrate seamlessly with AWS services, EHR systems, and enterprise data ecosystems.
Partnering with executive stakeholders, business leaders, developers, and solution teams, the Senior Architect translates complex business objectives into a cohesive Salesforce platform strategy. This position can support telework up to 90% with 10% travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Delivery
- Design and deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and contact center environments integrated with AWS Connect and Service Cloud Voice.
- Build and maintain integration frameworks connecting Salesforce with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, SQL DBs) and EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner) using FHIR and HL7 standards.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for scalability, security, performance, and compliance.
Technical Expertise & Leadership
- Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert in Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and contact center modernization.
- Guide developers on development and configuration, including Apex triggers/classes, Lightning Components, Flows, Agentforce automations, and Data Cloud integrations.
- Guide developers on implementing Agentforce-powered workflows and leveraging Data Cloud for real-time data unification.
- Partner with AWS and DevOps teams to deliver event-driven and API-based integrations.
- Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities, including generative and agentic AI, and recommend adoption strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to design Salesforce-enabled workflows that enhance patient and provider experiences.
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and UX designers to translate business objectives into actionable Salesforce solutions.
- Facilitate design workshops, technical reviews, and alignment sessions across cross-functional teams.
Governance & Compliance
- Maintain architecture artifacts, solution diagrams, and integration documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, enterprise security policies, and healthcare data privacy standards.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
- US Citizenship is required for this position with ability to obtain security clearance as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (additional work experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
- 12+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years in Salesforce solution architecture and delivery
- Proven expertise implementing Salesforce Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud solutions
- Hands-on Salesforce development and configuration experience, including Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, Agentforce automations, and Data Cloud integrations
- Experience designing contact center solutions, including AWS Connect, Service Cloud Voice, and omni-channel routing
- Familiarity with implementing generative and agentic AI solutions within Salesforce and AWS-integrated environments
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
- Strong knowledge of EHR integration patterns (FHIR, HL7, Epic, Cerner) and secure healthcare data exchange
- Multiple Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Application Architect, Developer 1 & 2, System Architect, Health Cloud Credential)
- Experience with SF DevOps tools like Flosum, Copado or SFDX/Jenkins

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
