About your role:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a valuable technical resource designing and developing enterprise UI solutions. You will work with Solution Architects within Fiserv’s Merchant reporting team, working on innovative solutions for merchants. You will have an opportunity to work effectively on complex projects independently and within a collaborative environment across but no limited to reporting, gift cards, recurring payments and FX. You will research and suggest modern ways of development using latest UI/UX technologies. You will also work with product managers and other engineers to design and implement new features on the platform.
What you will do:
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular on the frontend and Java on the backend
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Be available and provide support during end-of-sprint releases, ensuring smooth deployment and resolving any last-minute issues

Experience you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- 4+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade software applications, with a strong focus on Java, Angular, and AWS within the Spring framework.
- Experience in frontend frameworks like Angular(v2+), Tailwind and core technologies such as HTML5, CSS4, JavaScript (ES6+), and Typescript.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- 1+ years of experience in SQL database.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience designing and implementingmicrofrontend architectures.
- Experience withAWS servicessuch as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation, etc.
- Exposure to other front-end frameworks (React, Vue).
Important information about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- The successful candidate for this role will be hired in the location or one of the locations identified above.
- You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
