About your role:
As a SDET/Test Automation Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. Your expertise will be critical in upholding our high standards and delivering reliable solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify issues, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your skills to make a significant impact on our product offerings and the overall user experience.
What you'll do:
- Execute detailed quality assurance testing for software products.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
- Apply best practices in quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Experience you'll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in development and maintenance of robust automated test frameworks in Python or Java using Selenium, Karate, RestAssured
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing test cases for APIs, UI, and backend services along with testing the IOS and Android apps.
- 3+ years of experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI
- 2+ years of experience in performance testing
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, including unit, integration, regression and system testing
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity
- You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
