THE WORK
Manufacturing Engineering Sr. Manager responsible for leading team to include, manufacturing engineers, engineering aides, line maintenance technicians and machinists. Responsible for the oversight of BOM input, defining NRE, workflow processes, production floor setup/layout, Production equipment maintenance, Process improvements, work order audit closure, handling rejected procured material, implementation of design changes, defect analysis, develop/maintain/implement the Clearwater manufacturing technology roadmap , maintain the Clearwater Make/Buy matrix, support build of prototypes, provide producibility reviews to Tech Ops, develop custom fixtures/tooling/equipment, support the manufacturing operators in the build of product, resolve ME related build problems, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or other related field from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
-Prior leadership development and experience leading large teams in an electronic manufacturing environment
-Knowledge of Lean Principles and Continuous Improvement
-Experience with Project management, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation
Desired Skills:
-Ability to manage priorities, make sound financial decisions and be flexible to support ever changing production needs
-Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate technical and programmatic issues
-Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills including oral, listening, technical writing and team building
-Candidates must possess leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives
- Detailed experience with electronic manufacturing. Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC 610 and J-STD-001
-Master’s in business administration or related experience with proven business acumen
-Experience developing and implementing automation for recurring production.
-Ability to drive customer value through integrating digital technologies into critical business areas

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
