Markets Innovation Senior Product Manager - Executive Director (Senior Lead Securities Product Manager) in CIB to join our Product team for innovation working in partnership across the Markets products and the CIB GenAI AI & Innovation Team.
This opportunity will drive the development and execution of Markets' innovation strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with senior business and functional leaders across CIB. The individual will play a crucial role in driving the future of our Markets division, ensuring that our Innovation strategy aligns with our clients' needs and positions Wells Fargo as a leader in financial services. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience within CIB Markets businesses (e.g., Equities, FX, Structured Products, Munis, etc.) along with a strong understanding of AI/GenAI market solutions.
This role will initially focus on the Equities division, including Equities Sales & Trading, Electronic Execution offerings, and the Equities Finance/FCM business. This candidate will be required to work closely with our technology partners to actively manage a streamlined book of work, optimize and enable the reuse of technologies, keep pace with the continual evolution of GenAI and other innovative technologies, and provide business oversight to the creation of a unified platform for the Markets division to leverage innovation in its growth.
In this role, you will:- Lead the design and development of agentic product capabilities, including autonomous workflows, decision-making agents, and reusable platform components that drive efficiency and scale across trading desks
- Translate complex business problems into agentic product opportunities by leveraging GenAI, orchestration frameworks, and modular architecture principles, in alignment with strategic objectives and compliance requirements
- Responsible for working with stakeholders to oversee, prioritize, and optimize the Cross Markets Innovation book of work aligned to product area vision and goals, regulatory expectations, and emerging technology trends
- Champion experimentation and iterative development of agentic prototypes, ensuring learnings are captured and inform broader product strategy and roadmap
- Develop and communicate product area vision and strategy, actively managing backlog prioritization and resolving sequencing conflicts across product areas
- Manage engagement and communication related to delivery with CIB stakeholders at senior levels in the Markets division
- Maintain strong partnerships with technology, data science, and business teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring delivery of measurable, compliant solutions
- Stay ahead of industry trends and the evolving regulatory landscape, especially in GenAI and agentic technologies, to inform our innovation strategy and risk management
- Demonstrate Agile product management expertise, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the Markets division
Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of Securities Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Director-level experience in Markets/Sales/Trading within a large financial institution
- Experience leading AI or GenAI implementations across business functions either as an employee or as a management consultant
- Prior experience in product development
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to independently own a portfolio of products and product areas during all stages of the product life cycle
- Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and legal frameworks in financial services
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
- Ability to prioritize and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively engage stakeholders in strategic initiatives
- High energy and passion for innovation and strategic partnership development

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
