Boeing India Private Ltd. is currently seeking a high performing Application Deployment Engineer to join the Deployment Management Product team. Candidate must be adaptive and quick learner. Infrastructure Technology & Operations (IT&O) is an essential capability responsible for delivery premier technology products and services to advance our enterprise digital goals and business outcomes. We build, integrate, and operate solutions including cloud, network, storage, client computing, mobility and collaboration systems globally.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.
Position Responsibilities:
- Deploy and support high-volume, mission-critical applications on IBM AIX & Linux, and Unix platforms
- Deploy complex high availability applications in IBM AIX & Linux, Unix platforms
- Managing disaster recovery systems and managing load balanced IBM AIX/Linux systems.
- Should be willing to work on production issues during off-hours including weekends, holidays – when required.
- Installing and upgrading ENOVIA and knowledge of integration with CATIA v5 systems
- Automating repetitive deployment tasks
- Troubleshooting issue due to hard drives, mounting of disks, logical volumes, various methods of mounting network drives in IBM AIX infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
- 20+ years of experience in deploying & supporting high-volume, mission-critical applications running on AIX/LINUX/Windows servers
- 15+ years’ experience in deploying complex high availability applications and managing disaster recovery systems
- Extensive experience in deploying ENOVIA applications to AIX/Linux/Windows servers
- Should be highly skilled in basic IBM AIX & Linux system elements, like networking, cronjob, groups, users, starting and stopping applications, troubleshooting of system level issues.
- Extensive experience in writing shell/bash/PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks
- Expertise in low level OS components and experience in the usage of low-level commands for troubleshooting application issues caused by infrastructure (memory, IO, network, switches, NFS traffic etc.)
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Experience in working with Global teams with a global mindset
- Experience in Aerospace domain is a plus
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 15+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience
