What does a successful Full Stack Developer do at Fiserv?
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a high-performing team focused on building secure, scalable, and cloud-native financial solutions. You’ll work across the stack—from designing intuitive front-end interfaces to developing robust backend services—leveraging modern technologies to deliver seamless user experiences and reliable systems.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated developer with strong expertise in ReactJS for front-end development and Spring Boot for backend services. Experience with AWS Cloud and a passion for building scalable applications is essential. Familiarity with AI/ML integration is a plus.
What will you do:
- Design and develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using ReactJS
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot).
- Deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, utilizing services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between front-end and backend components
- Participate in AI/ML initiatives, including model integration and deployment using AWS SageMaker or similar tools (if applicable)
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools or Jenkins.
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
- Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability in production environments
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in full stack application development, with a strong focus on building scalable web applications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, including expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
- 3+ years of experience working with ReactJS for front-end development
- 2+ years of practical experience with AWS Cloud services, including deployment and integration
- 2+ years of experience with GitLab, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
- 2+ years of experience in SQL databases and writing optimized queries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience with emerging A.I. technologies
- Proficiency in C++, particularly for performance-critical or systems-level components
