Leidos is seeking a Mobility Engineer to support a large U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) program. The Antitrust Division of the DOJ enforces federal antitrust laws and promotes fair competition in the marketplace.
The Mobility Engineer will assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of VMware Workspace ONE as part of the enterprise mobility and endpoint management strategy. This role involves working with IT security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure mobile devices, applications, and data are securely managed and easily accessible.
This position is onsite in the Washington, D.C. area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and configuration of VMware Workspace ONE for Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), and Identity Management.
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of Workspace ONE UEM to manage mobile devices and endpoints across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
- Help configure and manage device profiles, compliance policies, and security settings for corporate-owned and BYOD environments.
- Support app catalog management and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) functions, including app deployment, secure access, and remote wipe.
- Assist with conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and single sign-on (SSO) integrations within Workspace ONE.
- Contribute to automating management tasks and reporting using Workspace ONE tools, APIs, or scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Help monitor system performance, device compliance, and security posture within Workspace ONE.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant IT experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in mobility engineering, endpoint management, or IT systems administration.
- Working knowledge of VMware Workspace ONE UEM or similar mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
- Familiarity with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS).
- Basic understanding of mobile security concepts, including encryption, compliance policies, and device management.
- Some experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow technical guidance and collaborate across teams.

Desirable Skills
- Certifications such as VMware Certified Associate – Digital Workspace or similar entry-level mobility certifications.
- Exposure to Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) or enterprise mobility security solutions.
- Familiarity with Azure AD or other cloud-based identity management tools.
- General understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) and their integration with MDM solutions.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
