Overview
ABM is seeking a results-oriented Regional Director of Sales to lead our Electrical & Lighting Services division, focused on low-voltage electrical systems <480 Volts This role is responsible for driving strategic growth, directing a team of 10—including high-performing Business Development Managers (BDMs)—and expanding our presence in infrastructure modernization and upgrades across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical knowledge, sales leadership, and a strong understanding of electrical services as part of integrated building envelope solutions—including lighting retrofits, panel upgrades, controls, and EV charging integration.
Pay: $125,000.00-$200,000.00 Annually
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Position Overview
ABM is seeking a results-oriented Regional Director of Sales to lead our Electrical & Lighting Services division, focused on low-voltage electrical systems <480 volts. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth, directing a team of 10—including high-performing Business Development Managers (BDMs)—and expanding our presence in infrastructure modernization and upgrades across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a team of 10,
- top-performing BDMs who execute core sales functions such as client engagement, proposal development, and opportunity management.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support to ensure team success.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies targeting verticals such as commercial real estate, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and government.
- Align offerings with building envelope priorities including energy efficiency, modernization, and compliance.
- Support BDMs in cultivating relationships with facility managers, property owners, and construction partners.
- Serve as an executive-level point of contact for strategic accounts and complex opportunities.
- Provide oversight and guidance on low-voltage electrical systems (480V and below), including lighting controls, panel upgrades, and EV charging (Levels 1–4).
- Ensure technical accuracy and value alignment in solution design and proposals.
- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning via Salesforce.com.
- Review RFQs and proposals to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Represent ABM at industry events, trade shows, and seminars to promote our capabilities and stay ahead of market trends.
- Set clear goals, monitor KPIs, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of progressive sales experience in electrical services, including leadership of B2B sales teams.
- Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing teams.
- Strong consultative sales and business development skills.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Knowledge of service-based sales in sectors such as facilities, logistics, energy, or real estate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or certifications in electrical engineering, energy management, or sustainability.
- Experience with low-voltage electrical projects, lighting retrofits, and EV infrastructure.
- Familiarity with incentive programs, grants, or compliance standards related to energy and infrastructure.
- Professional licenses or certifications in electrical systems or energy auditing.
