We are currently seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer to apply deep technical skills to create data products, develop automated governance tools, and build a world-class analytics and governance capability for Wells Fargo's Cyber Security Ecosystem. The successful candidate will continually innovate and pioneer the use of new technologies, and drive adoption of these amongst a team of talented data engineers. You will be an integral part of a team focused on Attack Surface Management, tasked with identifying risk in the Wells Fargo Ecosystem. You will be a vital member of an agile team helping to lead the design and hands-on implementation of modern data processing capabilities. This is a visible role that allows you to share your knowledge and skills with other developers and product teams in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you will:- Implement and operationalize modern self-serve data capabilities to ingest, transform, and distribute data for a variety of security pillars
- Enable secure data pipelines to ensure data protection in transit and at rest
- Leverage APIs to automate data governance capabilities and ensure proper data observability throughout the data flows
- Create repeatable processes to instantiate data processes that detect risks and compliance gaps and escalate appropriately
- Leverage AI/Agentic frameworks to automate data management, governance, and data consumption capabilities
- Create repeatable processes to instantiate data processes that fuel analytics products and business decisions
- Work with principal engineers, product managers, data engineers and cybersecurity to roadmap, plan, and deliver key data capabilities based on priority
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of python scripting experience
- 3+ years of .net software development experience
Desired Qualifications:- Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Design and implementation of highly scalable and modular data pipelines with built-in data controls for automating data governance
- Dev Ops and CI/CD deployments including Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with SQL or MS-SQL is a plus

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
